We are looking for a specialist in the Library’s strategic growth area of research support and information skills training. Based in Belval, with the opportunity to offer support and training at our other campus locations in Luxembourg, the person will be involved in developing new innovative research support services around research data management, in collaboration with colleagues and senior managers.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research support services, policies, and future service planning
  • Provide specialist support for the University’s research activities, with a priority on research data management, and additional support around open science, open access, bibliometrics, and scholarly communication
  • Assist with the development and management of institutional data and publishing repositories
  • Support day-to-day operations of the Library’s Research Support team
  • Develop and deliver training, workshops, and one-to-one consultations for researchers and students
  • Promote all research support services of the Library

Profile

  • Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in an academic, research, digital, or information-intensive environment
  • 3+ years’ experience in research support with a focus on research data management
  • In depth knowledge in research data management and related trends
  • Library and/or teaching experience is an asset
  • Full proficiency in English; good knowledge of French or German is an asset
  • A PhD is considered an asset
